How to Turn Your Info Business Into a Coaching Business

This article is for those people who are currently running an information business and who want to boost their sales and grow their online companies. Just like you, I’ve started by business by selling eBooks and audio products. Overtime, I had to think of expanding my product line not just to boost my revenue but also to address the changing needs of my client base. Because of this, I decided to offer coaching programs first via email and phone and later on, through face-to-face encounters. I would like you to do the same. For a simple reason that I want you to be more successful. Why stop at making money through eBooks when you can boost your earnings by up to a hundredfold? Yes, I said a hundredfold because coaching programs can sell up to $5,000.

Interested? Then, here’s how you can turn your info business into a coaching business:

1. First, I would like you to create a new website or blog for your coaching business so you can make your content more focused. Just like your old website, make the new one visually appealing, easy to navigate, and quick to download. Also, make it speak volumes about your expertise in your niche. Talk about your credentials and include proofs of your great reputation. Then, promote your website using content based marketing solutions.

2. Use your eBooks and audio products when creating the content for your coaching programs. You don’t need to create your coaching programs from the scratch. As you’ve already created and sold information based products, you can just repurpose their content. For example, you can use the very first eBook that you’ve published when writing the introduction of your first email coaching program. By repurposing your info products’ content, you’ll be able to save lots of time.

3. Offer your coaching programs to your regular customers. Before you even promote your programs in the World Wide Web, I would recommend that you offer them first to those people who have already done business with you in the past. Getting them to come back is a lot easier than attracting new customers. Of course, you need to ensure that they were happy with their last transactions with you. To entice them to come back ASAP, offer them preferential discounts or freebies. They’ll surely appreciate it.

4. Promote your coaching programs. Next step is to promote your new offerings to potential customers. Here are some things that would really work:

Go with video marketing. Create a video by recording some of your sample coaching sessions and upload them on YouTube. This is to give your prospects an idea as to what is in store for them.

Article marketing. Write several articles to showcase your expertise in your niche and distribute them to directories.

Use blog and forum commenting. Also, sink your teeth into guest blogging.

You can also promote your coaching programs through PPC and banner ads.

Of course, don’t forget about social media marketing as this is now one of the most powerful tools in easily reaching out to a group of people who might need your programs.
